Lynn Reid
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

My Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology is from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York. I have been in private practice for over 35 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with diverse populations in a wide variety of circumstances. These experiences have allowed me to fully appreciate the words of Milton H. Erickson, MD, in his observation that each person who enters his office is “as unique as their thumbprint.” In working with you I will always create a safe space designed to accommodate and honor your uniqueness so that you are free to express who you truly are. In this safety you will be able to reconnect with what is most real and valuable to you so that you can access the resources you need to make the changes you desire.

Limiting beliefs and attitudes are often embraced early in life as attempts to survive and make sense of painful experiences. Woundings can also occur later on. These events are stored in a primitive part of our brain called the amygdala. They are represented as patterns of neurons in your brain. By collapsing these neural patterns you can move beyond the recurring pain and blockages that keep you stuck. I will help you to use tools to free yourself from the pain to move toward the future you desire. By changing the wiring in your brain you will have access to more of who you want to be.

Lucia Martin
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. I have practiced in agency, hospital and private settings for over 35 years. In our sessions, I will help you explore and heal the wounds and barriers to the life you want to live.

Where we direct our attention has a tremendous impact on our experience of the world and on the choices and decisions we make each day. I will offer you tools to become more mindful and to utilize that mindfulness to create clarity and a more peaceful heart.

Chaos precedes all transition and change. This is both stressful and necessary as part of our growth. We will navigate this journey together. You will have the opportunity to explore your insights and learn new skills to manage stress, develop greater self trust, and clarify your desires and dreams for the future.

I specialize in stress management; clients dealing with the emotional aspects of medical problems; relationships; the LGBT community; life transitions.

Reality like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. As we change the way we look at things the things we look at change.
